Your career does not have to follow a straight path

Mine certainly didn’t!

You can’t put my career trajectory into a neat, linear narrative when people ask me what I do.

I have done many things. It’s been a zigzag of ventures, each with its own highs and lows and lessons learned.

I started the first gourmet food truck in Washington, DC.

We took a 1978 Chevy Grumman milk truck and turned it into a traveling culinary carnival experience on wheels.

Eventually, I would open a co-working space on Madison Avenue. I wanted to build a community in the city that never sleeps!

But why stop there?

I found myself running around NYC with my gym bag.

This sparked an idea for on-demand storage: Turning retail stores' underutilized space into temporary storage for tourists and business travelers on the go–putting an end to schlepping.

Each venture taught me new skills and how to execute leading me to the next opportunity working with startups.

My story is proof that linear is not better.

Carve out a path that's unique to you.

Don’t let your past define you. Reinvent yourself and keep going!
