People care about real problems!
The most frequent mistake in product development is creating something that doesn’t solve a problem.
When you talk to users about the problem, it's not something they really care about.
People don’t really care about made-up problems.
People care about REAL problems!
And if people don’t care about the problem, they won’t care about your solution.
The key is to become passionate about solving a real problem!
How to focus on real users’ problems?
⇒ Engage with your target audience
Interact with your target audience to get insights into their challenges and needs. Deeply understand the problem's context and how it affects potential users.
⇒ Empathy is key
Put yourself in their shoes to understand not just the surface-level problem but the underlying issues contributing to it
⇒ Iterate based on feedback
Seek feedback from customers. This allows you to refine your solution, ensuring it remains aligned with customer needs.
⇒ Focus on value creation
Ask yourself, "What value does this add to the customer?" If the feature, product, or service doesn't solve a real problem or add significant value to the user, reconsider its necessity.
The foundation of a successful startup lies in identifying a high-quality problem and aiming to solve it.
